Side note for the CEO of Agoric who “doubts the security of Python” (while they’re building a platform around javascript, gee I don’t see any conflict of interest there).

There are similar vulnerabilities in both languages. Python according to a report by Whitesource in 2019 had less vulnerabilities – 6% compared with Javascript’s 11%.

In any case I’d rather focus on the positive of opening up doors to developers. Excited to see what this year brings.
